Keto Avocado Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are a favorite dish among people everywhere, especially for party appetizers, snacking, or holidays. The good news is: if you are on a ketogenic diet, you too can enjoy keto avocado deviled eggs with added nutrition and benefits. With avocado as a base for your filling, not only are you getting healthy fats, but you are adding amazing flavors.

This easy recipe takes a short time and pays off as a healthy, delicious to grab snack. Feel free to spice it up or add to anyway you like! Sometime I add jalapenos to give it a pop of spice and flavor, while my son enjoys a few bacon bits on his!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt *I love pink salt
  • 2 sprigs cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 slice lemon *lime is fine too if you prefer
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1 dash Paprika

Instructions
 

  • Place your eggs in the bottom of your boiling pot. Fill with water until the eggs are covered
  • Bring your eggs and water to a boil
  • Allow them to boil for precisely 11 minutes
  • Transfer eggs to your ice water with the slotted spoon. Allow them to chill for 5 – 10 minutes, or until they are cool enough to handle
  • Remove the egg shells
  • Slice eggs in half lengthwise and transfer the yolks to a mixing bowl.
  • Add your mashed avocado and spices and mix liberally
  • Fill egg halves with approximately a tablespoon of the mixture
  • Finish with lemon juice, cilantro, parsley, and paprika
  • Transfer to your serving plate and serve warm or cold
  • Refrigerate the remainder

2) A large bowl filled with water and ice
3) A butter knife

8) A large serving platter
